Dr. Jayne Morgan of Mount Sinai Medical Center

Dr. Jayne Morgan is a cardiologist, entrepreneur and innovation leader with deep expertise in medical devices, startup companies, healthcare management and clinical research. She currently serves as the Executive Director of health and Community Education at the Piedmont Healthcare Corporation in Atlanta, GA. She is a native Atlantan and completed her Medical Degree at Michigan State University, Internal Medicine Residency at George Washington University, and both her Cardiology and Pacemaker Fellowships at Mount Sinai Medical Center.

Dr. Morgan is the recipient of several awards acknowledging her work in providing accurate science and medicine to all communities including the NAACP Award, the National Women’s Empowerment Award, the Atlanta Business Chronicle Award, and the Medical Association of GA Humanitarian Award. Dr. Morgan further serves on the Board of Georgia Bio and other Associations.

Dr. Morgan is published in the areas of Congenital Heart Disease, Interventional Cardiology, and Covid19; serves as the Health Equity Advisor for Moderna, and is on Steering Committees of both Pfizer, and Novartis, where she also serves as the National Lead of the Horizon trial (Novartis). She is the first African American President of the Southeast Life Sciences Association (single largest biotech association in the Southeast).

In her spare time she is a pilates enthusiast and holds multiple pilates certifications.
